Free Returns & Exchanges
To book a free return:
You have up to 30 days from the date your order is delivered, to return or exchange your item. As we are dealing with safety products, we must enforce this policy. We understand that sizing issues and general satisfaction with the helmet occur, so we offer up to 30 days to make sure you are completely satisfied with your purchase.
**The helmet/accessories must be in their original condition with all tags/protective films still attached and must NOT have been worn riding.**
To start the return/exchange process, send us an e-mail at hello@vossdot.com with the following information.
- First Name, Last name
- Order ID number/ Invoice number
- Reason for return/exchange
You will then be sent a link to our return/exchange portal to submit your request.
To process your return - it is mandatory to upload pictures of the following to the return portal:
- The box
- The front of the helmet
- The left side of the helmet
- The right side of the helmet
- The back of the helmet
- The inner drop-down visor
***Please Note The Following For The Return/Exchange***
All purchased products must be in original packaging and in re-sellable condition (eg. have not been on the road, no fingerprints, all tags attached, drawstring bag tightened) A $50 dollar re-stocking fee would be implemented in the event of the helmet not being in its original condition.
Return labels are only valid for 14 days after the creation date, therefore, must be activated before then. If we receive the product back and upon inspection, find it has been tampered with or is un-sellable, we CAN NOT guarantee the refund or exchange.
To ensure the quality of our service, each product purchased is inspected and documented as quality-controlled prior to shipping out. All items inspected upon return will be pertaining to the item sold, such as the helmet, and original packaging, such as the helmet bag and inner/outer box packaging.
Please inform us of any damage or defect before return, otherwise, if it is not declared before inspection, a refund may not apply. Additionally, due to a higher damaged return rate, if you would like to ensure a guaranteed refund, a photo of the helmet in its original condition and in the drawstring bag before it is returned will serve as a reference in case the helmet is received in otherwise condition. You may send us photos of the purchased products to confirm the condition, whether damaged or not. Refunds or exchanges only occur once the product has been received and inspected by our warehouse.
Additionally, please note that we will NOT issue a Refund/Exchange if the product has been inspected and the following is found:
- Scratches/scrapes due to the helmet not being secured in its drawstring bag during transit
- Odor coming from product (if there is a noticeable odor, please air out the product for 24 hours before returning, otherwise, this will delay the refund process once it is received back)
- Unremovable fingerprint marks/smudges or dirt/stains
- Any irregularity that is not declared as damage before the product is returned
What happens next?
- Print out the Pre-Paid Shipping Label and attach it to the outside of the parcel;
- Please print or save a copy for your records – you can use this to track your return shipment.
- Drop off your package at your closest FedEx or USPS Depot.
- Send us an update email letting us know the package has been dropped off.
If you have not heard from us within 10 days of the return, we strongly suggest contacting us to ensure we received the product so that we may begin the refund/ exchange process. You can reach us either by email hello@vossdot.com or by phone M-F (Pacific Standard Time) 9 am to 4 pm.
Once the Roadhouse Distribution Warehouse has received your item and it has been approved for return, we will refund you by your original payment method. Payments can take up to 14 working days to process.
*Refunds will not include the shipping for orders under $50 USD*
**All promotional items must be included in your return or a fee will be charged**
To book a free Exchange:
Follow the same steps for the return, but note that it is an exchange when contacting us initially and submitting your request using our return link.
What happens next?
- Print out the Pre-Paid Shipping Label and attach it to the outside of the parcel;
- Please print or save a copy for your records – you can use this to track your return shipment.
- Drop off your package at your closest FedEx or USPS Depot.
- Send us an update email letting us know the package has been dropped off.
What is Package Protection?
Package Protection provides full coverage for your order against loss or damage during transit by replacing it.
Please note that Voss is not responsible for stolen packages. To help prevent theft, make sure to select "Signature Required" at checkout. If you choose "Signature Required" and the package is signed for upon delivery, Voss will not offer coverage or replacement if the package is subsequently stolen or lost.
